Ana was one of the most beautiful gymnasts to watch and I will miss her in London. I was expecting Ana to qualify to BB and FX finals and seriously challenge for gold on both apparatus. There is no comment about exactly how bad the injury is. It seems the new code, with its emphasis on difficulty is acting as a deterrent to gymnasts who are more naturally artistic and less naturally strong...and it seems, more prone to injury. This is very unfortuante considering she would have been a contender for the AA and on events like the Balance Beam.
