The July/August 2019 issue of International Gymnast magazine includes an interview with 2019 European balance beam champion Alice Kinsella of Great Britain, who told IG that her team’s recent stability on balance beam bodes well for them at this fall’s World Championships in Stuttgart.

“Coming out of the European Championships with six out of six clean routines and the gold medal is very impressive,” Kinsella said. “I can say that the performances and results have given the whole squad a lot of confidence and the belief we can do even better at Worlds.”

“The all-around final motivated me for sure," she said. "I was determined I wasn’t going to end my European Championships on a low. I was really ready and determined to smash my beam and floor, to just go for it and enjoy it. With beam I had the confidence from knowing what I could produce in training and the determination to end the championships well.”
