Two-time French Olympian Ludivine Furnon told IG that she and partner Nicolas Besnard plan a routine even more romantic than their crowd, and judge-pleasing audition performance on “America’s Got Talent.”

Furnon and Besnard, known professionally as the acrobatic act Duo Maintenant, earned a standing ovation from the audience for their passionate and daring routine on the July 9 episode.

The four judges also stood, gave them rave reviews and advanced them to the next stage of the competition.

“That was by far the best acrobatic act I’ve seen,” Julianne Hough said. Gabrielle Union described their performance as “seamless, beautiful and powerful.” Howie Mandel praised the act as “perfect and beautiful and dangerous.”

“That was a 10,” quipped Simon Cowell.

Preparing for their next appearance on the show, Furnon likened their AGT debut to Olympic competition.

“We are very happy with our first performance,” said Furnon, the first French woman to win a World Championships medal (bronze on floor exercise in 1995) and a 1996 and 2000 Olympian. “It was a very unique and emotional moment for us. I had the impression of being at the Olympic Games.”

Furnon, who was featured in the April 2005 issue of International Gymnast magazine while performing with Cirque du Soleil, said she and Besnard are planning a new routine for the upcoming episode.

“For our next performance we want to do something different,” she told IG. “More romantic, with a prop!”
