2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin (U.S.) has been selected as an NBC correspondent for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. The Moscow-born Liukin already has experience as a gymnastics commentator, but she'll be on the sidelines this time. The dual U.S.-Russian citizen will be in Sochi to present features for “The Olympic Zone,” a half-hour daily show. Liukin, who is currently attending New York University, celebrates her 24th birthday today. Click here to read more in US Magazine and click here for the announcement from NBC Olympics.

anti-gay law
With all the protests that have been going on lately many people took stands wether to support or not the Sochi Olympic Games, people are boycotting russian vodka, boycotting the sponsors, Cher denied to perform on Sochi Games and Prison Break's Wentworth Miller and many other stars attacked the anti-gay legislation.
I hope this will help Liukin's carrera because it will disappoint many gay and gay-friendly fans.
I'm glad she isn't gay or she would risk to be arrested
