FIG Rewards Most Exemplary Federations

Lausanne (SUI) / FIG Office, March 14, 2012: For the first time in 2011, the FIG established the principle of rewarding its member federations which have arisen by an exemplary participation in official events, respect of meeting deadlines, organizing events. Points were distributed or subtracted and have established the first classification of the good conduct of affiliated federations. A cash prize money of CHF 50,000 has been allocated by the Executive Committee for the year 2011 and distributed as follows:

1. Russian Gymnastics Federation

2. German Gymnastics Federation

3. French Gymnastics Federation

4. Japan Gymnastics Association

5. British Gymnastics
