Florida's Gymnasts Train Through Pain

"The Alligator," the student newspaper at the University of Florida, has a lengthy article focusing on the physical and mental anguish gymnasts go through to reach their goals. Florida is currently ranked No. 1 in women's NCAA gymnastics, but like all teams, is fighting to stay healthy. "They train when other athletes or just regular people would not be able to do the things they do," the team's athletic trainer said of the gymnasts. "They've done it their whole lives, and that's their mindset. They find something to do to keep them doing gymnastics even when they’re injured." Click here to read more in "The Alligator."
