After gold-medal runs at the recently concluded Indian National Games, gymnasts Ashish Kumar and Dipa Karmakar say their gyms still lack of modern equipment. "The condition of the equipment available at National Sports Academy, Allahabad where I practise is quite bad. As such I could hardly have any practice after the Asian Games on those apparatus," said Kumar, who in 2010 won India's first gymnastics medals at both the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. I imagine the equipment stayed in New Delhi. I don't know how far Allahabad is, but India is a big place.
